• Fort Wilkins 1870: A Living History Experience Role-playing interpreters bring history to life at the 1844 fort. June 17 through August 16, 2013, at Fort Wilkins, Copper Harbor. 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., daily.

• Civil War Era Artillery Encampment The sights and sounds of the Civil War come to Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula. July 26 to 28, 2013, at Fort Wilkins, Copper Harbor. 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., daily.

• Copper Harbor Lighthouse Visit the lighthouse complex. See the 1848 keeper's dwelling, the 1866 lighthouse and the 1933 steel tower that houses the modern lighting apparatus.
