9 a.m. to 4 p.m., both days.
Join us inside the Michigan Forest Visitor Center at Hartwick Pines State Park for this popular workshop. You'll make a pair of snowshoes to give as a gift or use yourself.

You will make the following wood-framed snowshoe style:
- Ojibwa - 54 inches long by 11 inches wide
While building your shoes, you will learn about the history of snowshoes, their use and why they are a popular pastime in Michigan.
Fee: $175 ($25 non-refundable deposit; balance due first day of workshop)
