Walker On Wheels

Location: Walker Tavern Historic Site, Brooklyn

Classic and antique cars and trucks (1964 and earlier) are shown off to their best advantage against the rolling hills and historic buildings of Walker Tavern Historic Site. Visitors can view vintage vehicles in a historic setting and hear stories about the cars and where they've been.

  • Early registration: $5, postmark by June 20.
     
  • Onsite registration: $10, gates open at 9 a.m.
Prizes awarded for best in class and best in show. First 50 cars registered receive commemorative dash plaques.

Walker Tavern Historic Site—part of the Michigan Historical Museum System and the MotorCities National Heritage Area—is located 35 miles west of Ann Arbor, in Cambridge Junction Historic State Park; a Michigan State Parks Recreation Passport is required for park entry.
