Hoffmaster State Park - Photographing Birds Workshop with Tom Haxby

Saturday: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Sunday: 8 a.m. - noon (optional)

This class – taught by Tom Haxby, an award-winning and published freelance nature and wildlife photographer from Kingsley, Michigan (http://tomhaxbyphotos.smugmug.com) – will cover effective use of equipment, photography techniques and an introduction of raw processing. Saturday afternoon will be spent in the park, practicing skills. An optional session photographing birds in the park will be provided on Sunday morning for those wanting more one-on-one help with equipment and techniques.

Cost: $125, which includes lunch on Saturday and all workshop materials. Limited to 25 participants.

The Gillette Sand Dune Visitor Center is located in P.J. Hoffmaster State Park. A Recreation Passport is required for entry into Hoffmaster State Park.
