Each rental car from Enterprise includes a toll free number to call if the car you are driving breaks down. Call that number and Enterprise will arrange repairs, deliver a new car to you if needed, and get you on your way.

How much notice does
Enterprise need to reserve a car?
24 hours notice to Enterprise is preferred when requesting a specialty vehicle. . If you need a vehicle on short notice call Enterprise and they will attempt to accommodate your needs.

Does Enterprise have
night drop boxes for after-hours returns?
Many Enterprise offices have key drop boxes for after-hours returns. Check with your local Enterprise office for after-hours return procedures.

If I need a car in the
morning how can I get it?
You can pick it up the evening prior and return it the following evening after you finish your business.

Are there any
restrictions to who can drive the vehicle?
The driver must be employed by or be an authorized contractor of the state, have a valid license, and be 21 or over in age.

What kinds of vehicles
are available to rent?
Mid-size cars such as Cavalier, Neon, and Ford Escort; large cars such as Lumina, Taurus, Grand Prix; trucks, including mini vans, full size passenger vans, 15 passenger vans and a limited selection of work trucks. The on line reservation site will show you the vehicles available.

What happens if I have
a crash in a rental vehicle?
Seek medical attention if needed, notify law enforcement authorities, then call Enterprise at the toll free number included with your rental papers. They will arrange towing and putting you in another car if needed. The insurance provided in the contract covers all repairs and expenses incurred in a crash situation.

Do I need a special
form to rent a car?

What do I do about
insurance for an Enterprise vehicle?
Insurance is included in the rental agreement with Enterprise. If you are requested to initial next to the insurance boxes it is important that you do, and accept the insurance coverage.

Do I have to pay for
the vehicle myself or do I just sign for it?
With the proper accounting information, Enterprise is able to bill your agency directly for the rental. There is no need for you to pay to rent a vehicle.
11.
Do I have to have any
maintenance done on these vehicles?
No. Enterprise will take care of maintenance.

Do I need to buy fuel for
an Enterprise vehicle?
Refuel the vehicle before returning it to Enterprise. Generally, fuel expenses for Enterprise vehicles should be detailed on the DMB-VTS 47, Driver Expense Reimbursement Voucher under Other Expenses and submitted to your department (with receipt) for reimbursement. Check with your department Vehicle Coordinator before renting a vehicle to find out your department’s policy for claiming reimbursement.

Can I use my WEX Card
from my assigned vehicle for fuel in an Enterprise rental?
NO. Only use the WEX card with the vehicle that it was issued for.
