Fall
Prevention/Protection Initiative
The purpose of this initiative is to help reduce or eliminate hazards in the
construction workplace by
providing an opportunity for employee training. It will provide important information
on fall hazards
associated with construction work and MIOSHA requirements for fall protection
and employee training.
Falls are the leading cause of fatalities in the construction industry and the
falls must stop!
This new initiative is being implemented by the Consultation Education &
Training (CET) Division.
The following is a list of Fall Protection Training Courses that
are currently scheduled,
