FINGERTIP REPORT: B.2. SERVICE UTILIZATION SUMMARY for Children with Serious Emotional Disorders
All Funding Streams Including Medicaid and General Funds

During Fiscal Year 2010 (October 1, 2009 – September 30, 2010), the community mental health system served 39,496 children with serious emotional disorders (SED).  The public mental health system provides these services through Medicaid funds, other forms of insurance, as well as state general fund dollars.  Table B shows the number and percentage of children with serious emotional disorders who received evidence-based services including Homebased services, Wraparound, and Parent Management Training.  Detailed descriptions of these services are located in Michigan's Medicaid Provider Manual.

Wraparound is defined by HCPCS codes H2021 and H2022.
Parent Management Training is defined by an HA modifier appended to any of the following service codes - (90846, 90847, 90849, H0036, S5111) .
