All surplus generated by state government, excluding real estate, is processed through the State Surplus Property Program.  When possible, this material is displayed in our central Lansing facility for redistribution within state government.  Agencies may review this surplus and transfer items to their program for continued use at no charge.  Surplus which is not reused is sold through public auction or sealed bid.  Please call 517-334-8271 if you have any questions.
