FAQs



Will I need a fishing license?

A fishing license is not required for anyone that is 17 years of age or younger.  Adults/ parents that would like to fish must purchase a fishing license.  For more information visit- https://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,4570,7-153-10363_14518_65243-305564--,00.html


Where should we meet the Explore Lab Science Team?

We have reserved the Cabana Shelter- Hawk Island Park Map.

Can I attend if I don't have fishing supplies?

Yes, we will have a limited number of fishing rods that can be shared and we will have plenty of bait!  You will also have an opportunity to win fishing supplies. 

Is registration required?

Although registration is not required, we recommend that you register to ensure that you receive an Explore Lab Science Activity Packet.  Register here- http://gofish.questionpro.com.
