Research

The Research Section provides crucial information on how to manage Michigan's fisheries. The section includes biologists, analysts and technicians who work closely with other partners including universities and other government agencies. There are five research stations throughout the state as well as the Partnership for Ecosystem Research and Management (PERM) researchers located at Michigan State University.

Status of the Fishery Resource Reports contain the results of major fisheries surveys on Michigan lakes and rivers.
