University of Michigan Scholarships for Foster Care Youth!

University of Michigan has developed the Blavin Scholarship for foster children, orphans or wards of the court for the upcoming Fall 2008/2009 school year. U of M has 8 scholarships available for up to $5,000 each. Please read the attached document to learn how to apply.

Please remember the deadline for applying to U of M is February 1st. If a student does not have the means to pay the application fee, please contact the Office of Financial Aid at U of M and they will work with the student to help waive the fee.

The deadline for students to submit their statement of interest for consideration for the Blavin Scholarship is March 15th of this year.
