The National Youth in Transition Database (NYTD)

The National Youth in Transition Database (NYTD) is a way for youth who experience foster care to share their experiences so that services can be improved. Hearing back from youth allows DHS and the community to better understand how foster care impacts young people and how they can change policies and improve resources to make it better. Your participation matters! It makes sure Michigan does not make decisions about you, without you!

It's a follow-up survey year! This means that if took the survey within 45 days of your 17th birthday we would like for you to complete it again starting October 1, 2012 within 45 days of your 19th birthday. For those that complete the survey we would like to give you a $15.00 gift card as a way of thanking you for your time and consideration. If you have a NYTD survey ID, please open the link to complete the survey, https://www.mdhs.michigan.gov/nytd/. If you believe you are eligible to complete the survey and do not have your survey ID please contact Youth Services at 517-373-9219.
