Marquette County Flooding

Marquette County Flooding On May 18, Governor Jennifer M. Granholm toured areas of Marquette County damaged by recent serious flooding. The Governor toured the area in a Michigan State Police helicopter, along with Michigan State Police Director Colonel Tad Sturdivant. Granholm also met with local officials to make sure that the state was providing needed assistance, and she pledged to ensure that state government works closely with local and federal officials to cut red tape and help the area recover.
