Governor Granholm Appoints Dr. Solomon Cogan to Michigan Board of Chiropractic

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm announced the appointment of Solomon L. Cogan, D.C. to the Michigan Board of Chiropractic.  Dr. Cogan, of Bloomfield Hills, is a licensed chiropractor and the president and CEO of Health Quest, a chiropractic clinic in Farmington.   

Dr. Cogan is appointed to represent chiropractors for a term expiring December 30, 2008.  He succeeds Donna Craft whose term has expired.

Under the Public Health Code, 1978 PA 368, the Michigan Board of Chiropractic provides for the licensure and examination of persons prior to their entry into the practice of chiropractic and provides penalties for violations of the act.

This appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
