LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today issued the following statement:

“This is a very sad day for the Kehrl family, the Monroe community, and the entire state of Michigan.  As Governor, I’ve been honored to have known and worked with Herb Kehrl.   He was dedicated to his community, where he spent his life working as an educator and a volunteer, and to the citizens of the 56th District.  His desire to help others and his passion for education will inspire generations to come.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kehrl family during this difficult time.”
