Governor Granholm's Statement on Passing of Former State Representative Aldo Vagnozzi

LANSING - Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today issued the following statement on the passing of former state Representative Aldo Vagnozzi:

"Representative Vagnozzi devoted his life to serving the people of his community and the people of Michigan. He proudly fought for fair wages and good benefits for workers and the best education possible for their children. Although Aldo was a charming gentleman who had a smile for everyone, he had fire in his eyes when it came to fighting for what he believed was right for Michigan. Aldo made our state better for every citizen. I extend my deepest sympathy to his family on their loss.
