Charter Fishing - Grand Haven Charter Fishing - Grand Haven
June 4, 2003

"...During the first week in June, we’ll be highlighting just a few ideas to help people start their vacation planning. We have only six days, but there’s enough to see and do for 52 weeks worth of fun – this is the first stop in the tour."

Governor Granholm went charter fishing in Grand Haven on the fourth day of her tourism tour and as shown here, hooked a fish but before the captain could get past the reporters and photographers on board to capture the moment so he could untangle the Governor’s line, the fish got away.
Governor Granholm proudly announced that the fish that got away from her was, no doubt, just as beautiful as the king salmon caught earlier in the day which she proudly displayed.
