Whereas, Aging in Place Week offers educational activities for seniors that highlight home and community-based products and services - including healthcare, transportation, and housing - to enable them to successfully age in place and enjoy independent living; and now therefore be it,
Resolved , That I, Jennifer M. Granholm, Governor of the State of Michigan, do hereby proclaim the week of October 13, 2008, as Aging in Place Week in Michigan.
