Whereas, Pastor Lewis Randolph serves as the anointed, committed, inspired, spirit-filled shepherd of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church membership; and,

Whereas, The theme for this year’s annual Men and Women’s Day is “Men and Women Knowing Something about the Name of Jesus;” and,

Whereas, This day culminates a three month project that included a 7-Up Service, Stay-at-Home Tea, City-Wide Musical and Style Show that continued to lift up the name of Jesus; and,

Whereas, Antioch Missionary Baptist Church has a long standing history of outreach and service in the community and abroad; and now therefore be it,

Resolved, That I, Jennifer M. Granholm, Governor of the State of Michigan, do hereby proclaim May 4, 2003, as Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Annual Men and Women’s Day in the State of Michigan and further extend my congratulations to Pastor Lewis Randolph and the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Family on this blessed day.
