Whereas, May is Older Adults Month; and,
Whereas, Senior Housing Awareness Week is an opportunity to raise awareness
in Michigan of appropriate and affordable housing for our older citizens; and,
Whereas, The State of Michigan wishes to commend and promote our many fine
facilities that currently house many older citizens; and now therefore be it,
Resolved, That I, Jennifer M. Granholm, Governor of the State of Michigan,
do hereby proclaim the week of May 15, 2004, as Senior Housing Awareness Week
