Whereas, Because of the increase in condominium ownership in Michigan over recent years, UCOM finds a continuing need for education and training in condominium administration; and,

Whereas, UCOM is the only organization in Michigan with the sole goal of helping condominium associations to govern their complexes in accordance with their individual bylaws and the current Michigan Condominium Act; and,

Whereas, UCOM has assisted many condominium associations, as well as individual co-owners, to become aware of the responsibilities inherent in community living; and now therefore be it,

Resolved, That I, Jennifer M. Granholm, Governor of the State of Michigan, do hereby proclaim the week of September 27, 2003-October 3, 2003, as Michigan Condominium Associations Week.
