Bible Week

Whereas, The Bible has been a constant source of moral and spiritual guidance for many people throughout the centuries; and,

Whereas, The Bible has influenced art, literature, music and codes of law; and,

Whereas, The Bible has motivated countless acts of compassion and charity; and,

Whereas, The Bible continues to provide inspiration, hope and comfort for millions of Americans today; and now therefore be it,

Resolved, That I, Jennifer M. Granholm, Governor of the State of Michigan, do hereby proclaim the week of November 18, 2007, as Bible Week.
