Judge Concerns

Who can I contact with concerns about the actions of a Judge?

The Judicial Tenure Commission (JTC) holds State judges, magistrates, and referees accountable for any misconduct they may have entered into while serving the public. The Supreme Court of Michigan, which has exclusive supervisory jurisdiction over the Judicial Branch, created the JTC to promote integrity in the judicial process and to preserve public confidence in Michigan Courts. The Governor does not have administrative power over issues falling under the Judicial Branch of Government. Please use the Judicial Tenure Commision Request for Investigation form to file a grievance, or visit their webpage for further information.  Further contact information is also provided below:
