Quit Smoking Information

How can I learn more about the State’s quit-smoking program?

The Michigan Department of Community Health offers free quit-smoking counseling and free nicotine patches and gum to the uninsured as well as a wealth of information on the negative impacts of smoking. Call 1-800-480-7848 or complete the iCanQuit Smoking Cessation Program contact sheet for more information. For additional resources, including information about the Governor’s five-year plan for tobacco use prevention and reduction and a smoke-free dining guide, please visit the tobacco information section of the MDCH website.
