Thanks to legislation signed by Governor Jennifer Granholm that allows the Michigan Economic Growth Authority Act to help make Cadillac Casting eligible for Single Business Tax credits, the company was able to grow their business in Michigan. The Cadillac, Michigan, facility is a ductile iron foundry which makes engine exhaust manifolds, steering knuckles, and other cast components. Cadillac acquired and continued operations at the foundry, resulting in the retention of 713 jobs, including 375 directly by the company.
