Governor's Task Force on Children's Justice Members

The following members are appointed for a term commencing September 21, 2006 and expiring June 30, 2008.

Mr. Wayne C. Beerbower of Farmington Hills, county of Oakland, retired Farmington Hills Police Officer, Police Officers Association of Michigan, reappointed to represent the law enforcement community.

Ms. Nancy J. Diehl of Detroit, county of Wayne, Chief Prosecuting Attorney, Felony Trial Division, Wayne County Prosecutor's Office and Immediate Past President of the State Bar of Michigan, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

The Honorable Susan L. Dobrich of Dowagiac, Cass County Probate Judge, Chief Judge, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

Ms. Sydney R. Duncan of Detroit, county of Wayne, family advocate, reappointed to represent child advocates.

Ms. Shauna L. Dunnings of Lansing, county of Ingham, Eaton County Assistant Friend of the Court and Attorney Referee, representing judicial and legal officers.

Mr. Donald N. Duquette of Ann Arbor, county of Washtenaw, Director of the Child Advocacy Law Clinic at the University of Michigan Law School, adjunct professor and School of Social Work, professor and project director, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

Mr. Elias J. Escobedo, Jr. of West Bloomfield, county of Oakland, attorney, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

The Honorable Nancy C. Francis of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County Probate Court Judge, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

The Honorable Pamela Gilbert-O'Sullivan of Chesterfield Township, Macomb County Probate Court, Chief Judge, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

Ms. M. Gloria Gillespie of St. Joseph, county of Berrien, Assault Recovery Services, reappointed to represent health and mental health professionals.

Mr. John Gravier of Ontonagon, county of Ontonagon, Sheriff, representing the law enforcement community.

The Honorable Linda S. Hallmark, Oakland Probate Judge, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

The Honorable Judy A. Hartsfield of Detroit, Wayne County Probate Judge, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

Dr. Frederick A. Johansen of Benton Harbor, county of Berrien, Medical Director of the Berrien County Health Department, representing health professionals. 

Mr. Radwan M. Khoury of Livonia, county of Wayne, Executive Director of Arab-American and Chaldean Council, reappointed to represent parents and representatives of parents' groups.

Ms. Judith S. Labovitz of Haslet, county of Ingham, retired Department of Human Services employee, reappointed to represent child advocates.

Ms. Kathleen A. Lacko of Ludington, county of Mason, West Michigan Child and Family Leadership Council, reappointed to represent child advocates.

Mr. William Lansat of Farmington Hills, county of Oakland, attorney specializing in the litigation of child protection proceedings, juvenile delinquency, custody cases, guardianship cases, and mental health proceedings, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

Ms. Sandra M. Lindsey of Lathrup Village, county of Oakland, Executive Director of the Saginaw County Mental Health Authority, reappointed to represent health and mental health professionals.

Mr. Mark O. Liss of Warren, county of Macomb, Assistant Deputy City Attorney, City of Royal Oak, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

Rev. Theodore C. Melinat of Pinconning, county of Bay, President Emeritus of Lutheran Child & Family Service of Michigan, reappointed to represent child advocates.

Ms. JoAnn C. Monaghan of Lakeport, county of St. Clair, retired principal, reappointed to represent child advocates.

The Honorable Eugene A. Moore of Oxford, Oakland County Probate Court Judge, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

Ms. Jolanda A. Murphy of Peshawbestown, county of Leelanau, Department of Public Safety Manager, Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, reappointed to represent the law enforcement community.

Mr. Robert O'Brien of Detroit, county of Wayne, Director of Partnership Development for Southwest Solutions, reappointed to represent child advocates.

Ms. Euphemia "Sue" M. Parrish-Franklin of Royal Oak, county of Oakland, Executive Director of South Eastern Michigan Indians, Inc., reappointed to represent child advocates.

The Honorable Gregory Pittman of Muskegon, Muskegon County Probate Judge, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

Mr. Lawrence Richardson of Adrian, county of Lenawee, Sheriff, representing the law enforcement community.

Ms. Patricia J. Wagner of Charlotte, county of Eaton, Children's Charter of the Courts of Michigan, reappointed to represent court-appointed special advocates.

The Honorable Elizabeth A. Weaver of Glen Arbor, county of Leelanau, Michigan Supreme Court Justice, Former Chief Justice, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

Mr. David H. Wolock of Royal Oak, county of Oakland, attorney, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

The Honorable Tracey Yokich of St. Clair Shores, county of Macomb, Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Court Judge, reappointed to represent judicial and legal officers.

The Honorable Elizabeth A. Weaver also is designated to serve as Chairperson of the Governor's Task Force on Children's Justice, to serve as chairperson at the pleasure of the Governor.
