Martha W. Griffiths Michigan Rare Book Room

Starting July 7, 2009 Rare Book Room hours will change to: 1-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Visitors should call (517) 373-1300 to request an appointment during closed hours.

The Rare Book Room's public hours are:
1 p.m. - 4 p.m., Monday/Thursday
10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday
By appointment, with 7 day advance notice on Saturday
Visitors should call (517) 373-4301 to request a Saturday appointment.

State Law Library

The Law Library hours will remain unchanged. Hours: 1-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Visitors should call (517) 373-1300 to request an appointment during closed hours.

Services have resumed at the new location in the Michigan Library and Historical Center located two blocks West of the State Capitol between Allegan and Kalamazoo Streets at 702 W. Kalamazoo Street. Come over and visit our new location.

MACKINAC ISLAND STATE PARK COMMISSION

Mackinac State Historic Parks are open daily from early May through mid-October. The Mackinac State Historic Parks are located throughout the Straits of Mackinac region. Fort Mackinac is located on Mackinac Island, Colonial Michilimackinac and Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse are located in Mackinaw City, and Historic Mill Creek is located just south of Mackinaw City. As they are in different locations and have different opening/closing times, be sure to check the dates and times closely before setting up your tour. Please check the www.mackinacparks.com Web site for specific information for each location.
