The Michigan Historical Center is headquartered in the Michigan Library and Historical Center in Lansing (see location map) and has services and facilities throughout the state.

Accessibility at the Michigan Library and Historical Center

All Michigan Historical Center agencies in this building—the Michigan Historical Museum, administrative offices of the Michigan Historical Museum System, editorial and circulation offices of Michigan History magazine, the Office of the State Archaeologist, the Archives of Michigan and the State Historic Preservation Office—are wheelchair accessible.

• The south entrance of the MLHC is wheelchair accessible.
• Designated handicapped parking is available at the south entrance.

Michigan Historical Museum

• A wheelchair may be borrowed, subject to availability.
• Videos and touch-screen computers in the third-floor exhibits offer a caption option.
• With at least two weeks advance request, every attempt will be made to provide sign language and foreign language interpreters.
