Parking
There is parking south of the building with a nominal hourly fee weekdays; weekend parking is free. Visitors should approach on Kalamazoo Street and turn north onto the circle drive to enter the parking lot . There is also visitor parking on the north side of the building off Allegan Street, near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
Michigan Library and Historical Center visitor parking lot changes effective Monday, April 20, 2009.
The cost will be $1 per hour with a maximum of $8 per day. There will be two pay stations, one at the exit accessible from the vehicle and one in between the double doors of the south building entrance of the Michigan Library and Historical Center. The machines will accept $1, $5, $10 and $20 and will provide change. Payment will be CASH ONLY.
