Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse
In June 2000 Mackinac State Historic Parks (MSHP) opened a Lighthouse Information Center in the Fog Signal House at the 1892 Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse in Mackinaw City to help raise public awareness and donations for its restoration and re-opening. The lighthouse is listed in the National and State Registers of Historic Places.
"Buy a brick" donations and more are being solicited for the ongoing restoration efforts.
