Juniors, take part in a community service project during a fun overnight program at the Michigan Historical Museum.

In the spirit of giving, campers will be making no-sew fleece blankets, pillows and scarves to donate to local residents who are in need of a little warmth during the holiday season. Fleece will be provided, although any donations will be greatly appreciated—the more items we make, the more we help!

Fee: $30 per child; $10 per chaperon.

Fees include a nighttime snack, breakfast, a community service patch, a Michigan Historical Museum patch and all craft supplies.

The Michigan Historical Museum—flagship of the Michigan Historical Museum System—is located inside the Michigan Library and Historical Center, 702 West Kalamazoo Street, Lansing. The museum and visitor parking are on the north side of Kalamazoo Street, two blocks east of M. L. King Jr. Boulevard. Admission and weekend parking are free.
