JAWS Instruction Sheet
From the help section of Freedom Scientific's Job Access With Speech program.
INTRODUCTION
Internet Explorer 5.5 is a web browser that connects a computer to information that is available through the Internet. Internet Explorer not only acts as a browser to display data, but it also helps you find, incorporate, and interact with that data.
In this document references are made to the JAWS cursor. To activate the JAWS cursor you will press the (MINUS KEY) on the numeric keypad on the right side of the keyboard. In most cases, this gives the user more control when navigating the screen.
JAWS uses the numeric keypad to navigate the screen. This means actions that require the use of the up and down arrow keys, end, home and page up and page down are performed on the numeric keypad. Please note, the Numeric keypad+(any key) instruction is used to direct the user to use the (+any key) on the numeric keypad.
