FY 2009 Arts and Cultural Grants

The FY 2009 grant awards were approved September 9, 2008 by the Governor's appointed members of the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA). On May 5, 2009, the Governor issued Executive Order 2009-22 with reductions to Arts and Cultural Affairs grants.

NOTE: All grants of $25,000 or more are pending approval of the State Ad Board

MCACA Quick Facts

The Council distributes funds appropriated for the arts by the Michigan State Legislature. In addition, Council distributes funding received from the National Endowment for the Arts.
