Arts and Learning Guidelines


Applicants in this program may request a minimum of $5,000 to a maximum of $15,000.  Applicants must make a 2:1 match.Your cash match must be at least 50% of your request; the remainder of the matching requirements may be cash, in-kind contributions or a combination of the two.

Arts and Learning Program Categories
This program will now have two new subcategories instead of the previous seven. These categories are meant to incorporate all possible projects eligible in the previous categories. Contact program manager Carolyn Damstra with questions and to discuss which category best suits a project.

Deadline for Arts and Learning Program Applicants:

  • Applications must be postmarked no later than May 1, 2008
  • Hand delivered applications must be in MCACA offices no later than 4:00 p.m. on May 1, 2008
  • Late applications will NOT be accepted or reviewed
  • An application fee of 3% of the requested amount or $300, whichever is less is required
  • Metered mail IS NOT acceptable
