Focus on Trying New Authors

Every one of our readers has a favorite author.  Many of our patrons would like a book by their favorite author every time they receive books.  If you are reading books by your favorite author faster than the author can write them you may be disappointed when you don’t receive books by the authors that you love.  But don’t despair!  Ask you Reader Advisor to recommend authors to you who write in a similar manner to your favorite author.  We truly enjoy the feedback from our patrons when they tell us about their "new favorite author!"

Focus on New Subject Codes

We have added a couple of new subject codes on our computer system to help us locate books with a common theme:

0633 - Biography Royalty (Non-Fiction)

1815 - Health, Medical Conditions (Non-Fiction)

2820 - Literature - Adult - Award Winners (Fiction)

3708 - Reference - Adult - Computers (Non-Fiction)

4313 - Short Stories - Adult - Horror (Fiction)

4730 - Travel - Adult - World Travel (Non-Fiction)

Call 1-800-992-9012 to order add any or all of these subjects to your reading profile.
