In compliance with Governor Jennifer Granholm's Executive Order 2009-36, future management and publication of Michigan History magazine has been transferred from the Michigan Department of History, Arts and Libraries to a nonprofit agency.

The Michigan Historical Center will continue to make available for purchase magazine back issues (through September/October 2009) and a variety of books and other publications that had been published under the Michigan History name. We will bring you detailed product information very soon.

The Historical Society of Michigan assumed management and publication of Michigan History magazine on October 1, 2009.
