architect, but also a craftsman of intriguing furniture and beautiful carpets. Saarinen
is probably most known in the state for his wonderful architectural designs that are
located on the Cranbrook Campus in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The following

Minoru Yamasaki is probably known best for is design of the late World Trade
Center in New York, New York. Despite this world-renowned architectural pillar,
Yamasaki has designed many buildings right here in Michigan such as the American
Concrete Institute in Detroit and Temple Beth in Bloomfield Township. The
