Workforce Issues Studied:

Other than veterinary licensing examinations, the National Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (NBVME) supports a program for certification of foreign-trained veterinarians with two examinations.   The organization also offers two disciplinary examinations for use by licensing boards. 

Research and Publications:

Although the NBVME does not plan to conduct additional workforce studies in the future, various reports are currently available on their website.
