Workforce Issues Studied:

The Michigan Optometric Association conducts optometric practice availability surveys and provides the information to optometrists seeking practice locations.  The national association (American Optometric Association) conducts surveys which collect, analyze and disseminate socio-economic and other data relating to eye care and about the optometric profession and ophthalmic industry.

Research and Publications:

The national association (American Optometric Association) publishes research for the industry.  However, it is not disseminated to the public
