Military
Family Relief Fund (Pub Act 363-364, 2004)
In
the Fall of 2004, the Michigan Legislature passed, and Gov. Granholm signed
into law, the Military Family Relief Fund Act. The Military Family Relief
Fund provides grants to qualifying families of military members in either
the Michigan National Guard or Reserves who are called to active duty
as a result of the national response to the September 11, 2001 terrorist
attacks.

Send a check or money order made out to the "State of Michigan"
and mail to:

Lansing, MI 48909-7761
Make sure you specify Military Family Relief Fund on the check.

Designate a portion of your income tax return
by entering your contribution amount on line # 29 of your Individual Income
Tax Return MI-1040.
Michigan
National Guard Family Fund started a few years ago. Contribution
is tax deductible.
Pays out 500/family/year.
