The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement reconciling Great Lakes Energy Cooperative's 2008 power supply costs.

The settlement agreement found a net over-collection of $3,361,267.  The utility will roll that amount into its 2009 power supply cost recovery reconciliation.

The utility and the MPSC staff participated in the settlement.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth.
