Michigan Liquor Control Commission Invites Licensees to "An Afternoon with the Liquor Control Commission"

Lansing, MI (February 19, 2010)-The Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC) in conjunction with the Huron County Safe Communities Coalition hosting "An Afternoon with the Liquor Control Commission" on February 22, 2010 at the Franklin Inn, 1060 East Huron Ave., Bad Axe, Michigan.

The event features a guest panel from the Michigan Liquor Control Commission: Patrick Gagliardi, Commissioner; Scott Maul, MLCC Enforcement Division; and Orlando Todd, Clean Indoor Specialist for the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH). The panel will discuss the Michigan "Smoke Free" law, learn about the MLCC Code, learn how decoy operations work, and will have time for questions and answers.

All business owners with a liquor license are invited to attend, as well as store or restaurant managers and staff. The public is also welcome. Admission is free and space is limited. Register in advance by calling Kristi Pitts at the Huron County Health Department at 989-269-9721 ext. 123.
