December 13, 2005 – The December edition of the Department of Labor & Economic Growth’s (DLEG) cable show Consumer’s Corner focuses on the 30^th anniversary of the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA). The show, hosted by DLEG Director David C. Hollister, was filmed on location at Macomb College during the “Governor’s Workplace Safety & Health Forum” for Michigan manufacturers.

The cable show includes highlights of the forum including clips from top executives from Ford, Dow Chemical, and MASCO and interviews with MIOSHA award winning manufacturers. The forum included the launch of a new safety and health training cd-rom which will be sent to 30,000 manufacturers.

This show, which is airing statewide through early January, offers valuable information for both business owners and employees on worker safety and health.
