CIS Announces Guardian Industries to Receive State Award for Outstanding Safety & Health Record

NOVEMBER 30, 2001 - Guardian Industries’ Carleton facility will receive an award for an outstanding safety and health record from the Michigan Department of Consumer & Industry Services (CIS), on Tuesday, December 4, 2001, 2:00 p.m., 14600 Romine Rd., in Carleton.

 

The Consultation Education and Training (CET) Bronze Award is issued to employers by the CIS Bureau of Safety and Regulation CET Division, and recognizes leadership and commitment to safety resulting in significant safety improvement of their Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Act (MIOSHA) record.

 

BSR Director Doug Earle will present the award to Carleton Plant Manager Don Tullman.  Guardian Industries Corp., based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, is a leading worldwide manufacturer of float glass and fabricated glass products for the commercial and residential construction industries.
