Local Worker's Compensation Office In New Location

Agency: Workers' Compensation Agency


The local office that deals with worker's compensation claims at the contested case levelhas moved to a new location.

The Worker's Compensation Board of Magistrates hearings office and mediationprogram for the Bureau of Workers' Disability Compensation recently moved from thedowntown Lansing Victor Building to the former Motor Wheel building in Okemos. The centraloffice will remain at the General Office Building in the State Secondary Complex.

Workers injured in Eaton, Ingham, Clinton, Shiawassee and Livingston countiespursuing claims will have their claims assigned to the new location -- now called WoodlandsOffice Park -- at 2501 Woodlake Circle, Okemos. Located near I-96 and Jolly Road, the officewas selected for easy accessibility and free parking.

Inquiries concerning any claim can be mailed to: Bureau of Workers' DisabilityCompensation, P.O. Box 30016, Lansing, MI 48909. A map of the new location is available bycalling (517) 241-9393.
