We've Moved! Local Worker's Compensation Office In New Location

Contact:  Maura Campbell 517.373.9280
Agency: Licensing and Regulatory Affairs

NOVEMBER 18, 1997 - The local office that deals with worker's compensation claims at the contested case level has moved to a new location.

The Worker's Compensation Board of Magistrates hearings office and mediation program for the Bureau of Workers' Disability Compensation recently moved from the downtown Grand Rapids State Office Building to 2942 Fuller Street, N.E.

Workers injured in Kent, Ottawa, Ionia, Mecosta, Montcalm and Newaygo counties pursuing claims will have their claims assigned to the new location. Located near I-96 and the Plainfield exit, the office was selected for easy accessibility and free parking.

Inquiries concerning any claim can be mailed to: Bureau of Workers' Disability Compensation, P.O. Box 30016, Lansing, MI 48909. A map of the new location is available by calling (616) 447-2670.
