I don't have a degree in Social Work. Am I still eligible for registration or licensure?

To be registered as a Social Work Technician, you need at least 2 years of college including 4 courses in human resources OR 2,000 hours (1 year) of social work experience under the supervision of a licensed bachelor's or master's social worker.

To be licensed as a Social Worker, you need to hold a baccalaureate or a master's degree. This degree must be from a social work program that is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). You must also have 4,000 hours (2 years) of social work experience under the supervision of a licensed master's social worker.
