  • U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs - VHA Pain Management Home Education Managing Chronic Pain: A Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Approach Clinical Resources Administrative Resources Research Resources Post Deployment Pain Conferences Site Search The purpose of this web site is to facilitate effective pain management by providing convenient, centralized access to resources for the provision of pain services within the VA healthcare system. The intended users of this site are Veterans, Veteran family members, caregivers, VA administrators, clinicians, and researchers who have an interest in any aspect of pain management.

  • American Pain Foundation - APF began the Military/Veterans Pain Initiative in 2004 in response to communications that we received from veterans suffering with pain from prior wars, and because of the growing number of veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan who were surviving, but living with persistent pain. APF's initiative was formed to reach out to active military and veterans who are in pain and provide them with educational information, and support to improve their pain care, decrease their sense of isolation, and encourage them in their pursuit of a better quality of life for themselves and their families.

  • Michigan Hospice and Palliative Care Organization - The Michigan Hospice Veteran's Partnership is part of a national network of hospice programs and the Department of Veterans' Affairs, veteran's service organizations, and the Veterans' Health Administration. The HVP is here to ensure that veteran's can access quality end-of-life services. This site also has links to a variety of other veteran related resources.
