  • Fire Fighter I Challenge Exam (NFPA 1001 2008 edition)

    • Course Description:

    The Fire Fighter I Challenge Exam is based on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standard 1001, 2008 edition, Chapter 5.

    Challenge: The Fire Fighters Training Council Act, PA 291 of 1966 as amended allows members of organized fire departments to challenge the certification exam without first attending FFTC administered training. Cadets, explorers and pre-service students are not allowed to challenge the examination.
