INVESTIGATION

If mediation is not available or a resolution is not reached through a mediation conference, the department will conduct an investigation. If the investigation determines that the law or rules may have been violated, formal charges in the form of a "formal complaint" will be filed against the respondent. A copy of the formal complaint will be sent to both you and the respondent.
